Music cognition and computational musicology
- I am interested in computational theories of music (e.g. generative theory of tonal music
) and possible neural correlates of such models.
I graduated in Telecommunication Engineering (University of Padua, 2002) and worked as a research assistant (2003-2004); research topic: patterns in time-series of internet traffic.
In 2004 I moved to London to work for the IT industry until end 2007, but decided to go back to the academy studying for a second master degree in music cognition: Music, Mind & Technology
(University of Jyväskylä).
